This clever disguise almost fooled me, too!
Until the caterpillar grew so large that I wondered what over-sized feathered creature frequented the skies around my little farm. 
I believe he’s destined to become a Giant Swallowtail Butterfly. For now, the hungry fellow feasts on a small orange tree.
